The King’s College women’s soccer team improved to 2-0 with a 6-0 victory over the Defenders of Summit University.

It only took the Monarchs until the 4th minute to net a goal from junior Amy Barge, off of an assist from fellow junior Alexandra Garrett, who also scored a goal in the 24th minute of the game.

Senior Erin Laird scored three goals in the game, with her first coming in the 42nd minute off of an assist from first-year Abby Smith.

Senior Ivy Nulton assisted Laird on her second goal in the 49th minute.

First-year Andrea Galvin assisted ] Laird on her final goal in 54th minute to complete her hat trick.

Evelyn Tocco rounded out the scoring barrage with her first collegiate goal in the 71st minute.

The King’s College women’s soccer team looks to make it back to the MAC Conference championships for the third year in a row.
