The King’s Women’s Soccer (2-1-2) takes on Lycoming Women’s Soccer (2-6-0) at McCarthy Stadium at 7 pm on Wednesday.

Junior Ivy Nulton, who leads the Lady Monarchs with four goals and two assists and was named Freedom Conference Player of the Week last week, heads the Lady Monarch attack. Sophomore Alexandra Garrett, who has two goals and one assist to start the season, accompanies her on the attack. Garrett scored an insurance goal last game to seal the King’s victory.

In goal will be junior, Jessica Natale, who’s provided a spark in goal saving twenty-three shots, with a save rate close to 80 percent. The Lady Monarchs are coming off of a 2-0 home win against Albright College on Saturday afternoon and are looking to stay on track against a slow starting Lycoming team.

Lycoming is led by star freshman Jordan Lazarich, who was recently named Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week, whose six goals in eight games lead the Warriors. Along with Lazarich, is junior Nikki Kaye who had a huge game against Juniata College, where she scored a pair of goals for Lycoming.

Between the bars will be freshman, Joelle Winey, who received Player of the Week honors on Monday. Winey has struggled this year, allowing twenty-three goals in eight games. However, she is coming off of two strong performances with wins over Baptist Bible and Juniata, respectively.

King’s will be in search for their second straight win and their third win in four games. Lycoming is looking to stay hot and take their third straight match after starting the season 0-6. This is set to be a good matchup as both teams are playing well of late.
