Senior Farewell: Emily Sisk
It is kind of weird to say this is my first and last article for The Crown. I have had the pleasure of being the copy editor for the past two semesters. Before this year, I had never really been involved in anything at King’s. Don’t get me wrong, I love this school and what we stand for, but as a commuter it has always been a challenge to balance school, work, and extracurricular activities. I was lucky enough to find something I could work into my schedule and something I actually like to do!
Kayleigh, our fearless editor-in-chief, was the one to tell me about the position and assign it to me. The work I’ve done over the past year has helped me hone the skills I developed as an English major. I have been able to learn a lot about the school via the articles as well.
As for my future, I will take what I have learned from The Crown and apply it to the job I have after graduation. I implore everyone, especially the commuters, to get involved with something on campus. It will enrich your college experience, but try not to wait until the last moment!
