This month’s featured intern is Keith Homeschek. He is a senior accounting major with a minor in small business management. He has been interning at CEO (Commission of Economic Opportunity) as one of the lead accountants with the company since July.

Homeschek is really enjoying the opportunity to dig deeper within his major through CEO. His internship has allowed him to gain a better understanding of everything he has learned from his professors at King’s. He really enjoys seeing these principles utilized first hand in the workplace, and highly recommends interning to any student willing to learn. “To anyone who doesn’t have an internship,” he said, “I would say it is one of the best things to get in order to really understand what you are learning in school.”

As for his future plans, Homeschek plans to stay with his girlfriend and get a full-time job. He has also been offered to work part time at CEO after his internship ends. In the meantime, he will continue with interviewing and networking to see what other opportunities present themselves. Best wishes from The Crown, Keith!
